The year was 1971, Chris was a college student in Pennsylvania trying to boost his GPA and figure out what to major in. He signed up for his first ceramics class, thinking “how hard could this be”. He became hooked pretty quickly and spent countless hours in the pottery studio while majoring in Humanities with a concentration in ceramics and photography. In 1988 he became a full time potter. Chris creates gorgeous raku vessels and a line of functional pottery from his home studio.
